I KNOW I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE!! 😂\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe outer bread had this perfect slight sweetness to it and my favorite part was always finding THE EGG. 😂 Nom Pao was the perfect grab and go food on the way to school. It was something to look forward to when I got home. She would make a whole mountain of them and somehow, as a kid, that felt like the biggest treat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor me, Nom Pao will always remind me of my Look Yay sitting outside in the backyard on this little wooden block that my Look Tha made, tending to these steamed wheat flour buns with their soft, pillowy pleated tops.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a kid, I was just waiting for them to be done so I could eat one.
