The Original LOOK YAY! - Black Metal

LOOK YAY! is a heartfelt homage to my late Grandma and a celebration of the resilience of all Southeast Asian women who have paved the way for us. Their sacrifices and strength, enduring the challenges of the Khmer genocide and civil wars, and rebuilding lives in foreign lands for their children’s futures, have brought us to where we are today.

The name of this brand is a tribute to the women in our lives—the moms, aunts, and sisters who carried our families on their backs. It’s dedicated to the Grandmas we wish we had known better and the unconditional love we feel from the women who are the driving force in our lives. LOOK YAY! stems from the sacrifice of a matriarch and the love that binds us all. ⛅️

To the Yays, Mas, Mings, and all the other remarkable women who have played vital roles, LOOK YAY! is a thank you. And of course, a heartfelt thank you to my very own LOOK YAY. 👵🏼❤️
